Jubilee Year 2025

10-DAY ITALY & MEDJUGORJE

PILGRIMAGE

YEAR OF THE JUBILEE

ABOUT YOUR TRIP

Join us in 2025 for the Year of the Jubilee and walk through The Holy Doors!

As many know, the Jubilee is a special year of grace, in which the Catholic Church offers the faithful the possibility of asking for a plenary indulgence, that is, the remission of sins for themselves or for deceased relatives.

The most exciting and well-known rite is certainly the opening of the Holy Door. This gate is open only during the jubilee year and the 4 main ones are the major basilicas of Rome: St. Peter, Archbasilica of St John Lateran, St. Paul Outside the Walls and St Mary Major. The first to be opened is St. Peter’s Basilica, the other doors are opened in the following days and remain open until the end of the Jubilee when they are once again walled up.

ITINERARY

Your Jubilee pilgrimage begins by boarding your international flight to Rome. Meals and drinks will be served on-board. Enjoy your flight. Your spiritual journey awaits in Italy!

Upon arrival at Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, you will meet your professional tour guide and board your luxury deluxe touring vehicle. As we exit the airport, we will begin a panoramic tour to get acquainted with “The Eternal City.” We will stop by the famous Trevi Fountain, where there will be free time for lunch. Afterward, your tour continues at the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. Afterward, we will proceed to your hotel for the evening. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

After an early breakfast at your hotel, we will proceed to the Vatican for the Papal Audience with Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square! After the audience, we will walk through the Holy Doors of the grand St. Peter’s Basilica! We will celebrate Mass, explore the basilica, and continue with a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and the world-famous Sistine Chapel! Dinner and overnight in Rome.

After breakfast, our tour begins by walking through the Holy Doors of the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, one of Rome’s four major basilicas and the final resting place of St. Paul, the Apostle.  Next, we will explore the city’s Catacombs, followed by a tour of ancient Rome. We will visit the Colosseum, Capitol Hill, the Vittorio Emmanuel Monument, the Roman Forum, and Circus Maximus. This afternoon, we will visit Rome’s other major basilicas and walk through the Holy Doors of St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran. You’ll also have free time to explore before returning to your hotel. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, we will travel north to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and the founder of the Franciscan Order. Upon arrival, we will tour the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, where you will view the crucifix that said to him, “Rebuild my Church.” Afterward, we will visit the Church of St. Clare, where her relics are kept. The rest of the day is free for shopping or relaxing. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

This morning, we will celebrate Mass at St. Mary of the Angels Basilica, home to the Porziuncola, the tiny church in the woods where St. Francis began his ministry, and St. Clare began her religious life. The rest of the day is free for exploring independently, shopping, or relaxing. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

This morning, we will have free time before lunch. After lunch, we will journey toward the Adriatic coast to the great Marian Shrine of Loreto, a famous Catholic Pilgrimage site since the 14th century. Here, we will visit the Basilica of the Holy House, which enshrines the Holy House of Nazareth, the home in which the Blessed Virgin Mary is believed to have lived. We will most likely have some free time this afternoon before leaving for Croatia. We will depart on an overnight ferry from Ancona, Italy, to Split, Croatia. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be on board.

Upon arrival in Split, you will meet your local tour guide who will escort you to the village of Medjugorje. Enjoy the scenery as you make your way to this special place where over 30 million pilgrims have come since the apparitions began in 1981 to six local children. Dinner and overnight in Medjugorje.

While in Medjugorje, you will have the opportunity to grow your faith and share in the faith journey of others, as over one million pilgrims a year journey here to experience its power. First, we will celebrate Mass at St. James Church and climb Apparition Hill, where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Each pilgrim will have time for prayer, private reflection, lunch, shopping, or exploring on their own. Dinner and overnight in Medjugorje.

This morning, we will transfer to the airport to catch our return flight home, sharing beautiful memories of our spiritual journey together.
