ITINERARY

Your pilgrimage begins today as you depart on your overnight flight to Warsaw. Meals and drinks are served on board. Relax and enjoy your flight. Your spiritual journey awaits in Warsaw!

Upon arrival in Warsaw, you will meet your local tour guide and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, we will do some sightseeing of Poland’s capital, including the Old Town, Market Place, Łazienki Park, Chopin Monument, St. Stanislaw Kostka Church, the 14th-century Cathedral of St. John, and the Royal Castle. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

We will begin early this morning and visit Niepokolanow, the home of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Next, we will continue to Glogowiec, the birthplace of Sr. Faustina, where Jesus appeared to her in 1931 and requested she paint the picture of His Divine Mercy. Afterward, we will continue to your hotel in Lodz. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Today’s journey will take us to Jasna Gora near Czectochwa, the monastery that withstood the repeated onslaught of overwhelming Swedish forces during the religious wars of the 17th century. Since then, its Black Madonna has been venerated as the “Queen of Poland” and has become the country’s national symbol. Next, we will visit the Pauline Monastery with its priceless treasures, including the Miraculous Icon. We will then travel to see the Nazi concentration camp of Auschwitz and the cell of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Finally, we will continue to Krakow for the evening. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning, we will tour ancient Krakow, the residence of Polish kings for centuries. We will visit Market Square, the 14th Century University, Wawel Royal Castle, St. Mary’s Church, and the Shrine of Sr. Faustina. This afternoon, we will drive to the Wieliczka Salt Mines, Europe’s oldest mine. We will explore the chambers of the Blessed Kings and St. Anthony of the Holy Cross and visit the spectacular cathedral where everything is carved from salt! Finally, we will return to Krakow for the evening. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning, we will visit the Divine Mercy Shrine in Łagiewniki, where Saint Faustina lived. We will celebrate mass at the Chapel of Relics and continue to Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II. Next, we will continue to the Czech capital of Prague. Upon arrival, you will understand why the “Golden City” is considered one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning’s sightseeing tour of Prague will include a walking tour of the Castle area, including St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica, Loretto Church, Strahov Monastery, and Wenceslaus Square. This afternoon, you will see the Old Town, St. Nicholas Church, and the famous Astronomic Clock. We will then celebrate Mass at the Church of our Lady of Victory, where you will see the statue of the Infant Jesus in Prague. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning, we will depart for Austria and the majestic old-world city of Vienna. En route, we’ll stop for Mass at the baroque Melk Abbey, where you will see the glorious gardens, Emperor’s gallery, marble hall, and library. Afterward, we will continue to Vienna for dinner and overnight accommodations at your hotel.

Today’s city tour will include strolling along the charming squares and medieval streets while learning the rich history and culture behind Austria’s capital city. We will visit the Vienna Opera House, Heroes’ Square, St Augustine’s Church, St Stephen’s Cathedral, and Mozart’s House, the composer’s only surviving Viennese residence. We will conclude our tour with Naschmarkt, one of the city’s most popular and impressive markets, and the extravagant Hofburg Palace. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Today, we will travel to the town of Styria and visit the Mariazell Basilica. This basilica was built between the 14th & 15th centuries, has Baroque interiors, and is the home of “The Magna Mater Austria” (Mary Mother of Austria). Afterward, we will continue to Salzburg. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Today, we will explore Salzburg! Together with the Sound of Music, Salzburg is also famous for being the birthplace of Amadeus Mozart, one of the world’s greatest composers. We will visit the Cathedral and the birthplace of Mozart before taking off through the city, with the film’s soundtrack as you pass famous locations featured in the film. Marvel at the city’s architecture and see the Lake District, one of the most impressive regions in the heart of Austria. Next, we’ll continue to the charming town of Mondsee, where you will have free time to explore the setting of the film’s wedding at the Mondsee Cathedral. Wander the streets at your leisure, stopping for a delicious slice of crisp apple strudel or browsing the local shops. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Today, we will travel to Munich. Upon arrival, we will observe great panoramic views of interesting places like the Allianz Arena. We will stop for a nice lunch at Marienplatz, a Medieval public square in the heart of Munich. Since its construction, it has been the site of tournaments, executions, and markets. Next, we’ll continue to visit the twin-towered Frauenkirche (the Church of Our Lady), the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Munich. The Cathedral is widely considered a symbol of Munich, whose construction began in 1468. We will then continue to your hotel for the evening. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

We will transfer to the airport this morning to catch our return flight home.
