ITINERARY
Today marks the beginning of your pilgrimage as you step onto your flight to Lisbon. Be at ease, as all the necessary arrangements for your journey have been taken care of. Simply sit back, unwind, and enjoy your flight. Your spiritual journey starts here!
This morning, we’ll arrive in Lisbon, where our friendly tour guide and driver will meet you at the airport. We’ll board our comfortable tour bus, with a possible stop in Santarem to see the Church of St. Stephen. Then, we’ll head to Fatima for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, we’ll start with a heartfelt Mass at one of Fatima’s serene chapels. Then, we’ll walk the Way of the Cross, ending at the Chapel of Calvary with stunning views. We’ll visit the homes of Francisco, Jacinta, and Lucia in Aljustrel and explore Valinhos, the site of post-imprisonment apparitions. In the evening, we’ll return to our cozy hotel for the Candle Procession, followed by dinner and rest.
After breakfast, we head to Porto, Portugal’s charming second city! We’ll celebrate Mass at the Cathedral dedicated to the Assumption and enjoy a sightseeing tour of iconic landmarks like the Stock Exchange Market and St. Francis Church. The afternoon is yours to explore, dine, or shop—there’s also an optional port wine cellar tour. Later, we continue to Santiago de Compostela for dinner and a comfortable hotel stay.
This morning, prepare for awe-inspiring views from Monte Gozo (Hill of Joy), the heartfelt last stop for pilgrims before reaching the Cathedral. Once there, we’ll have the privilege of visiting St. James’s tomb and gathering for Mass. Feel free to soak in the city’s atmosphere and take some time to explore in the afternoon. Dinner and comfortable lodging in Santiago de Compostela will round out your enriching day!
After breakfast, we set off for the majestic city of Avila, renowned for its impressive stone wall built between the 11th and 14th centuries. We make a stop at the charming town of Alba de Tormes to explore its historic Monastery. We’ll continue to Avila, where we’ll gather for a meaningful Mass in the Cathedral of Avila, the birthplace of the beloved St. Teresa. Enjoy dinner and unwind as we reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the day!
This morning offers an engaging city tour filled with history and beauty before we continue our adventure to Burgos, where we’ll check into our hotel before embarking on a walking tour. We’ll visit Castle Hill and the stunning Burgos Cathedral, a masterpiece of Spanish Gothic architecture. If time allows, we’ll explore more of the city’s hidden gems before enjoying dinner and a restful night at our hotel.
After breakfast, we set off from Burgos to the sacred city of Lourdes. Our journey begins with a delightful lunch break in Loyola, where we’ll visit the inspiring shrine of St. Ignatius. Following this meaningful stop, we’ll continue our pilgrimage to Lourdes, checking into our hotel for the night. After a delicious dinner, we’ll experience the serene beauty of a candlelight procession.
We’ll start our day with an early Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle, a truly moving experience in this holy place. Next, we’ll trace the footsteps of St. Bernadette, exploring the museum dedicated to her life and the lovely home she once lived in. Afterward, you’ll have the afternoon free to immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings or reflect in your own special way. After dinner, you’re invited to join us for a beautiful candlelight procession to cap off a memorable day. Overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.
This morning, we’re off to Barcelona! We’ll stop in Carcassonne, a hilltop town in southern France’s Languedoc area, famous for its medieval citadel, La Cité, with numerous watchtowers and double-walled fortifications. After lunch, we’ll continue to Barcelona. We’ll arrive at our hotel for dinner and overnight accommodations.
Today is packed with excitement as we visit the breathtaking La Sagrada Familia and the Cathedral of St. Eulalia. We’ll enjoy a panoramic city tour, taking in gems like the Church of Santa Maria Del Mar, Catherine Square, and the charming Gothic Quarter. You’ll also have some free time to indulge in lunch and shopping along the lively Las Ramblas. We’ll gather for a heartfelt farewell dinner at a local restaurant, sharing memories of our journey.
As our incredible journey comes to a close, we’ll transfer to Barcelona airport to catch our flight home. Safe travels, and we hope to see you on another adventure soon!
