ITINERARY

Today: Your pilgrimage begins as you depart on your overnight flight to Israel. Meals and drinks are served onboard.

Today: You will arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, travel through customs, meet your tour guide, board your touring vehicle, and transfer to your hotel in Netanya. If time permits, we will stop in Jaffa city and celebrate Mass at St. Peter’s Church.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel in Netanya.

Today: We start the day at Caesarea Maritima to view the ancient remains of Herod’s palace. Afterward, you will proceed to Deir Al-Muhraqa Carmelite Monastery, where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal and Asherah. Next, you’ll continue to visit Stella Maris Monastery on Mt. Carmel and Haifa City. Finally, we will drive to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel in Tiberias.

Today: We start by celebrating Mass in Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle and turned water into wine. At the Wedding Church, couples can renew their wedding vows and receive a renewal certificate from the church. Afterward, we will continue to Nazareth and visit The Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Church, Mary’s Well, and the old market. We will also visit Mount Tabor and the Church of the Transfiguration, before returning to Tiberias.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel in Tiberias.

Today: This morning, we will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus gave His Sermon on the Mount. Next, we will visit Tabgha, where the miracle of multiplication occurred. Afterward, we will see the Church of Peter’s Primacy, where the Miraculous Fishing took place. We’ll then continue to Capernaum, where Jesus lived and started his ministry. This afternoon, we will celebrate Mass in a boat, sailing on the Sea of Galilee. Next, we will continue to Bethlehem for the evening.

Today: We will spend the day in Bethlehem. First, we’ll visit Shepherds’ Field and celebrate Mass at the chapel. Next, we’ll visit the Nativity Church, the site where Jesus was born. Afterward, we’ll continue to Ein Karem, the home of St. John the Baptist, and the Church of the Visitation, where Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth and proclaimed the “Magnificat.”

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Today: We will begin on the Mt. of Olives at the Church of the Pater Noster, where Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer to his disciples. We will walk the Palm Sunday route, stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. In the Garden of Gethsemane, we will see The Rock of Agon, where Jesus prayed before his arrest. Next, we will celebrate Mass at the Church of All Nations. visit the Chapel of the Ascension, and drive to the hill of Mount Zion, the highest point in ancient Jerusalem. Here, we will visit the Dormition Church, the Upper Room, and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Today: This morning, we will retrace the last steps of Jesus as we walk along the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrow), through the markets of the Old City, praying the Stations of the Cross. We will continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and celebrate Mass. Next, we’ll stop for a short prayer at St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin Mary and her parent’s Saints Joachim and Anne. Continuing, you will walk past the Ecce Homo, where Pontius Pilate proclaimed, “Behold the man!” and then on to the Wailing Wall, Judaism’s holiest site. The rest of the day is open for you to visit other Holy Sites, shop, or rest at your hotel.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Today: After breakfast, you will travel to Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. We will go to the Church of the Visitation, where Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth and proclaimed “The Magnificat.” Finally, we will return to Jerusalem, where we will view the Second Temple model and see the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Today: This morning, we will visit Bethany, where Lazarus lived with his sisters Martha and Maria. After visiting Lazarus church, we will continue to the Jordan River to renew our baptismal vows. Next, we will drive down the Jordan Valley to the oasis town of Jericho, the world’s oldest city. Today’s Mass will either be in Bethany or in Jericho. We will continue our visit to the Mt. of Temptation, where Satan tempted Jesus as he fasted for 40 days. Afterward, we will explore the excavations of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were uncovered in 1947. On the way back, we will swim (and float) in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, renowned for its healing properties. You will then return to your hotel in Bethlehem.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Today: We will transfer to the airport this morning to catch our return flight home.
