ITINERARY
Your pilgrimage starts with a flight to Athens, a city steeped in history and spirituality. Every detail of your trip—accommodations, itineraries, and logistics—is well arranged for a smooth experience. Embrace this enriching journey ahead, full of growth and discovery.
Upon our arrival in Athens, we’ll go through customs and meet our tour guide. We’ll board a private motor coach for a panoramic tour, visiting iconic sites like the Acropolis and Parthenon. After checking into our hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore local shops, relax at cafés, or visit historic sites. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at the hotel, setting the stage for our upcoming adventures!
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll explore Athens, starting with the eleventh-century Monastery of Kaisariani and then visiting the Acropolis and the Parthenon. We’ll admire Hadrian’s Arch and attend Mass at a local church to experience the city’s spiritual essence. Finally, we’ll return to our hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening, reflecting on our day.
After a hearty breakfast, we set off for Delphi, known for its historical significance. Our first stop is the Delphi Museum, home to the Bronze Charioteer and ancient artifacts. In the afternoon, we’ll explore key sites like the Temple of Apollo, Delphi Theatre, Athenian Treasury, and the serene Castilian Spring. After a rich cultural experience, we’ll head to Kalambaka for dinner and an overnight stay at our Athens hotel.
Post-breakfast, we’re off on a 3-day cruise through the stunning Greek Isles! Our first stop is Mykonos, where you can explore charming streets, delightful restaurants, and unique shops. Be sure to catch the sunset over the Aegean Sea! After an adventurous day, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner on the ship as we sail toward the historic Ephesus. Here’s to unforgettable experiences!
We start our journey at serene Mt. Koressos, where the Virgin Mary spent her final days. Then, we enter Ephesus through the Magnesian Gate, visiting the Great Theatre and strolling along the Arcadian Way. After exploring the charming town of Kusadasi, we sail to Patmos, known for its beautiful harbor and white houses. We’ll visit the sacred cave of St. John and the nearby monastery before returning to our ship for dinner and a restful night.
We start our day at the ancient ruins of Knossos, exploring the palace and its stunning frescoes and gaining insight into Minoan civilization. Then we’ll visit Venetian fortresses and museums highlighting Greek history. Don’t miss the local market for unique crafts and delicacies! Afterward, we’ll sail to Santorini, offering options for guided tours or independent exploration of the island. The day ends with a delightful dinner and cozy overnight accommodations on board.
Today, we’ll explore the historic city of Corinth, which was significant during St. Paul’s time. Our visit includes the Agora, where St. Paul faced Gallio, the serene Peirene Fountain, the impressive Temple of Apollo, and the Bema, a platform for public discourse. After a day filled with history, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner featuring traditional dishes and reflect on our journey together, followed by an overnight stay at a local hotel.
