ITINERARY
Get ready for an exciting adventure as we depart for the vibrant city of Tokyo, Japan!
Welcome to Tokyo! After your arrival, you’ll meet your friendly tour escort and hop on your comfortable bus for a captivating panoramic tour of this incredible city. Soon after, we will head to your hotel to check in and settle down.
Start your fulfilling day with Holy Mass at St. Ignatius Church in Yotsuya, a serene modern Gothic church built by the Jesuits in 1949. Next, enjoy breathtaking views of Tokyo from the Tokyo Tower’s observatory. Our sightseeing includes a visit to the Japanese Garden, bustling Fish Market, Ueno Park (or Sumida Park for cherry blossoms), and the Tokyo National Museum. Experience a scenic 50-minute Tokyo Bay Cruise, crossing the iconic Rainbow Bridge, before exploring Aqua City Odaiba. After a day of adventure, we’ll return to the hotel for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll celebrate Holy Mass at Siomi Church or the Chapel of St. Francis before our full-day adventure to Hakone and Lake Ashi. First, we’ll visit the Fuji Visitor Center to explore its captivating displays. Then, we’ll drive to the Fifth Station (2,305 meters) for stunning views. After a delicious lunch, we’ll enjoy a boat ride on Lake Ashi and ride the aerial cableway up and down Mt. Komagatake for breathtaking views of Hakone National Park. Finally, we’ll return to Tokyo for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before attending Mass at a nearby Catholic Church. Afterward, we’ll transfer to Haneda Airport for our afternoon flight to Akita, a city renowned for its rich art scene and folk culture! Upon arrival, you can check in at your hotel, unwind, and enjoy a delightful dinner as we prepare for the next day’s adventures.
Begin your day with breakfast before heading to the Convent of the Servants of the Holy Eucharist for Holy Mass. This sacred site, where Our Blessed Lady appeared to Sister Agnes Sasagawa in 1973, is filled with inspiring miraculous stories. After this profound experience, we’ll have lunch at the Convent and return to our hotel for a relaxing evening. Enjoy dinner and reflect on the day’s unique experiences as we prepare for more adventures.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we’ll check out of our hotel and head to Akita Airport for our morning flight to vibrant Osaka! Once we arrive, we’ll make our way to the enchanting Nara Park, where you can interact with the friendly, free-roaming deer. If time allows, we will also visit the beautiful Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Then, we’ll continue our journey to Kyoto for a delightful dinner and a cozy night’s stay.
Start your day with a wonderful hotel breakfast before embarking on a full guided tour. We’ll explore the breathtaking Miho Museum, enjoy lunch at the Kyoto Handicraft Center, and marvel at the stunning Golden Pavilion and Nan-ji Temple. After a day filled with inspiration, we will have dinner and relax at our hotel for the night.
Enjoy a packed breakfast before heading to Osaka Airport for our flight back to the bustling metropolis of Tokyo. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure! Wrap up your adventure with dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a comfortable night’s stay at your hotel.
