About World Youth Day
A pilgrimage to World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea, is a transformative Catholic journey where young people from around the globe come together for a week of prayer, worship, catechesis, and fellowship with the universal Church. The international gathering, set for August 3–8, 2027, will bring hundreds of thousands of pilgrims to Seoul to participate in celebrations with the Pope and other young Catholics, deepening their faith and experiencing the unity of the Church in a vibrant cultural setting.
This pilgrimage offers more than attendance at liturgies and events — it’s a week of spiritual growth, cultural encounter, and fellowship.
