A Special Blessing and a Gift of Faith

Meeting the Holy Father, September 2025

On September 10, during the General Audience at the Vatican, a beautiful moment of grace marked the mission of Nativity Pilgrimage. Our CEO had the honor of greeting His Holiness Pope Leo XIV and presenting him with the very first copy of the Nativity Pilgrimage Prayer Book.

This 80-page prayer book is a special gift offered to every pilgrim who journeys with us. While it is deeply connected to the Holy Land experience, it is not limited to it. It is designed to support the spiritual life of our pilgrims wherever they are — before, during, and long after their pilgrimage.

Within its pages, pilgrims will find the Stations of the Cross, reflections on sacred Scripture, prayers for the Holy Land, and devotions that can be prayed anywhere. The book also includes guidance for praying the Rosary and special prayers to the saints, helping pilgrims grow in faith and deepen their daily spiritual life. It is meant to be a lasting companion — a source of strength, peace, and connection to Christ at any time.

During this special encounter, our CEO also presented the Holy Father with a beautifully handcrafted Holy Family sculpture made of olive wood from the Holy Land. This meaningful gift represents both the Christian heritage of the land of Jesus’ birth and the artisans who continue this sacred tradition in Bethlehem.

Presenting these gifts to the Holy Father was a powerful affirmation of our mission: to serve pilgrims not only through travel, but through faith. A second copy of the prayer book remains in our office as a reminder of this blessing and of our commitment to helping every pilgrim encounter Christ more deeply.

We are honored to share this prayer book with all who travel with us and pray that it continues to inspire devotion, renewal, and spiritual transformation wherever our pilgrims may go.
