ITINERARY
DAY 1: FLIGHT TO TEL AVIV
Today marks the beginning of an extraordinary pilgrimage as you board your flight to the Holy Land. Get ready for a truly transformative spiritual experience as you walk in the footsteps of Jesus and explore the rich tapestry of faith and history.
DAY 2: TEL AVIIV / NETANYA
Upon arriving at Ben Gurion Airport, you’ll smoothly navigate customs and step into this amazing journey with your Nativity tour guide, who will be with you every step. We’ll then board our comfortable motor coach for the scenic drive to your hotel in Netanya. If time allows, we’ll stop in the historic city of Jaffa to celebrate a special Mass at St. Peter’s Church. After a fulfilling day, relax and enjoy dinner at your hotel in Netanya.
DAY 3: CAESAREA MARITIMA / MUHRAQA / MT. CARMEL / HAIFA / TIBERIAS
Our day commences at the stunning ruins of Caesarea Maritima, home to Herod’s ancient palace. Next, we’ll celebrate Mass at Deir Al-Muhraqa, standing in the very place where Elijah confronted the Prophets of Baal and Asherah (1 Kings 18). The next stop is the serene Stella Maris Monastery on Mt. Carmel, followed by exploring beautiful Haifa City. Our journey will conclude as we drive to Tiberias, where you can unwind and enjoy dinner at your hotel.
DAY 4: CANA / NAZARETH / MT. TABOR / TIBERIAS
We will begin at the Wedding Church of Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle. Here, couples are invited to renew their wedding vows and receive a special certificate to commemorate their love. We will then explore Nazareth, visiting the Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Church, Mary’s Well, and the vibrant old market. Afterward, we’ll ascend Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, before returning to the comforts of Tiberias for dinner at your hotel.
DAY 5: MOUNT OF BEATITUDES / TABGHA / CAPERNAUM / SEA OF GALILEE / BETHLEHEM
Today begins at the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered His profound Sermon on the Mount. Morning for reflection, devotion, and a presentation by Dr. Peter at Mount of Beatitudes. We’ll then visit Tabgha, where the miracle of the “Feeding of the 5,000” took place, before seeing the Church of Peter’s Primacy, where Jesus performed the Miraculous Catch. Next, we’ll explore Capernaum, where Jesus lived and began His ministry. This afternoon promises a unique experience: celebrating Mass aboard a boat on the magnificent Sea of Galilee, capturing the essence of the time of Jesus. Finally, we’ll head to our hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight accommodations.
DAY 6: BETHLEHEM / NATIVITY CHURCH / SHEPHERD’S FIELD / EIN KAREM
We’ll begin our day at the magnificent Church of the Nativity, a sacred site that marks the very spot where Jesus was born. Morning for reflection, devotion, and a presentation by Dr. Peter at Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria. We then visit the Shepherd’s Field, a place rich in history and significance. Following this, we’ll visit In the afternoon, we will journey to Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. While there, we’ll explore the Church of the Visitation, where the Virgin Mary shared the ‘Magnificat’ with her cousin Elizabeth. Mass will be celebrated. After a fulfilling day, we’ll enjoy dinner and settle in for the night at our hotel in Bethlehem.
DAY 7: BETHANY / JORDAN RIVER / JERICHO / QUMRAN / DEAD SEA
After breakfast, we’ll head to Bethany to visit the church dedicated to Lazarus and then continue to the Jordan River for the opportunity to renew our baptismal vows. We’ll stop in Jericho, the world’s oldest city, for today’s Mass. Next, we’ll visit the Mount of Temptation, where Jesus fasted, and Qumran, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Finally, we’ll enjoy floating in the mineral-rich Dead Sea before returning to our hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight accommodations.
DAY 8: JERUSALEM: PALM SUNDAY ROUTE
Today, we explore Jerusalem, starting at the Mount of Olives and the Pater Noster, where Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer. We’ll walk the Palm Sunday route, stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over the city. In the Garden of Gethsemane, we’ll reflect at The Rock of Agony before celebrating Mass at the Church of All Nations. We’ll then visit the Chapel of the Ascension. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Mount Zion to explore the Upper Room, concluding our day at St. Peter in Gallicantu, where Peter denied Jesus. After dinner, we go back to Gethsemane for an evening Holy Hour. We’ll return to our hotel in Bethlehem for our overnight accommodations.
DAY 9: JERUSALEM: VIA DOLOROSA
Our day begins with a reflective walk along the Via Dolorosa, retracing Jesus’ final steps and meditating at each of the Stations of the Cross. We’ll reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried, and celebrate Mass. After visiting St. Anne’s Church, we’ll pass the Ecce Homo, feeling a profound reverence. The afternoon is free for exploration, and we’ll end with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant before staying overnight at our Bethlehem hotel.
DAY 10: RETURN FLIGHT HOME
This morning, we’ll transfer to the airport to catch our flight home, carrying with us the rich experiences and memories from our uplifting journey.
