Job Summary:
As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our pilgrims. Working closely with Account Managers, Trip Coordinators, and Spiritual Directors, you’ll provide customer support, process payments, and help manage traveler accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a mission-focused organization, loves to stay organized, and brings a warm, professional approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for travelers, responding to inquiries via phone and email
- Process payments and ensure accurate traveler account records in the CRM
- Make and document changes to traveler itineraries and personal information
- Communicate regularly with Trip Coordinators and Spiritual Directors
- Support Account Managers with traveler logistics and updates
- Deliver prompt, friendly, and organized customer service throughout the pilgrimage planning process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Foundational understanding of payment processing and basic accounting
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping others—especially when discussing travel!
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in the travel or customer service industry
- Familiarity with faith-based missions or organizations
- A team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn
