Job Summary:
As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our pilgrims. Working closely with Account Managers, Trip Coordinators, and Spiritual Directors, you’ll provide customer support, process payments, and help manage traveler accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a mission-focused organization, loves to stay organized, and brings a warm, professional approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact for travelers, responding to inquiries via phone and email
  • Process payments and ensure accurate traveler account records in the CRM
  • Make and document changes to traveler itineraries and personal information
  • Communicate regularly with Trip Coordinators and Spiritual Directors
  • Support Account Managers with traveler logistics and updates
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and organized customer service throughout the pilgrimage planning process

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Foundational understanding of payment processing and basic accounting
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping others—especially when discussing travel!

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience in the travel or customer service industry
  • Familiarity with faith-based missions or organizations
  • A team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn
