Medjugorje Pilgrimage Tours
A Journey of Prayer, Peace, and Marian Devotion
A pilgrimage to Medjugorje is an invitation to step away from daily distractions and enter into a deeper life of prayer, peace, conversion, and trust in God. Nestled in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Medjugorje has become one of the world’s most visited places of Marian devotion, drawing pilgrims who come to pray, attend Mass, climb Apparition Hill, walk the Stations of the Cross on Cross Mountain, and experience the parish prayer life centered around St. James Church.
At Nativity Pilgrimage, our Medjugorje pilgrimage tours are designed for individuals, families, priests, parish groups, prayer groups, and Catholic communities seeking a spiritually rich and carefully planned journey. Each pilgrimage offers time for daily Mass, personal prayer, group reflection, fellowship, and meaningful visits to the sacred places that have shaped Medjugorje’s spiritual life.
Whether your group is traveling directly to Medjugorje or combining the journey with Mostar, Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb, or other sacred sites in Croatia, Nativity Pilgrimage helps create a peaceful, organized, and faith-centered experience from beginning to end.

Visit the Sacred Sites
of Medjugorje
Medjugorje offers pilgrims a unique rhythm of prayer, silence, community, and encounter. Your days may include Morning English Mass at St. James Church, the parish Evening Prayer Program, a walk to the Blue Cross, a Rosary climb up Apparition Hill, and the Stations of the Cross on Cross Mountain. Many itineraries also include visits to local communities such as Cenacolo, Mother’s Village, the Castle, or Oasis of Peace, where pilgrims may hear testimonies of conversion, healing, and hope.
Led by the industry’s top tour guides and biblical scholars, and supported by premier accommodations, seamless logistics, and expert care, we create once-in-a-lifetime spiritual journeys for our clients.

St. James Church
St. James Church is the spiritual center of Medjugorje and the gathering place for parish liturgies, Morning English Mass, group prayer, catechesis, and the Evening Prayer Program. Pilgrims often begin their days here with Mass and return in the evening for Rosary, Adoration, and parish prayer.
Apparition Hill
Apparition Hill is one of the most meaningful prayer sites in Medjugorje. Pilgrims climb the rocky path while praying the Rosary, pausing along the way for reflection and arriving at the site associated with the beginning of Medjugorje’s spiritual experience. The climb offers a powerful opportunity for prayer, sacrifice, and Marian devotion.
Križevac
Križevac, aka Cross Mountain, is a place of penance, prayer, and surrender. Pilgrims climb the mountain while praying the Stations of the Cross along the path to the large cross at the summit. For those who prefer not to climb, the lower Stations near the church grounds offer a prayerful alternative.
Blue Cross
The Blue Cross is a quiet place of prayer located near the fields of Medjugorje. Many pilgrims walk there for personal reflection, Rosary prayer, and peaceful time with the Lord. It is often included early in the pilgrimage as a gentle introduction to Medjugorje’s atmosphere of prayer.
Extend Your Pilgrimage to Croatia, Mostar, or Dubrovnik
Many Medjugorje pilgrimages can be combined with nearby Catholic, cultural, and historic destinations. These extensions add beauty and depth to the journey while keeping Medjugorje at the spiritual heart of the pilgrimage.
We can easily customize any pilgrimage itinerary to meet the unique needs, preferences, and spiritual goals of our clients, ensuring a meaningful and personalized experience for every group.
Mostar
A Medjugorje and Mostar pilgrimage may include a day trip to Mostar, where pilgrims celebrate Mass at the Franciscan Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, explore the historic Old Town, and view Stari Most, the famous Old Bridge (pictured above) and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Dubrovnik
Some itineraries continue to Dubrovnik, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” Pilgrims may celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Blaise (pictured above), explore the UNESCO-listed Old Town, walk the city walls, visit Dubrovnik Cathedral, and enjoy the beauty of Croatia’s Adriatic coast.
Zagreb, Plitvice, and Split
Croatia and Medjugorje itineraries may begin in Zagreb with Mass at the Church of Mary Mother of Freedom and a walking tour of the historic Upper Town. Pilgrims may then travel through Plitvice Lakes National Park (pictured above), visit Split’s historic center, see Diocletian’s Palace, and celebrate Mass in the Cathedral of St. Dominus before continuing to Medjugorje.

Frequently Asked Questions
A Medjugorje pilgrimage is a Catholic journey of prayer, peace, and Marian devotion centered around St. James Church, Apparition Hill, Cross Mountain, the Blue Cross, and the parish prayer life of Medjugorje.
In 2024, the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith granted a nihil obstat for the spiritual experience connected with Medjugorje, recognizing positive spiritual fruits and permitting public devotion. The Vatican did not declare the alleged apparitions supernatural, so Nativity Pilgrimage presents Medjugorje as a place of prayer, pilgrimage, and Marian devotion in keeping with the Church’s guidance.
Mass will be celebrated every day. Times and locations can vary as they are subject to confirmation.
Some parts of the pilgrimage involve walking on uneven, rocky, or uphill terrain, especially Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain. Pilgrims who prefer not to climb Cross Mountain may pray the lower Stations near the church grounds, depending on the itinerary.
Each pilgrim will receive a specific “Pilgrim Preparation Guide” that covers everything you need to know before traveling, including what to pack for your pilgrimage.
All of our standard pilgrimages include breakfast and dinner, unless otherwise stated. Some pilgrimage leaders prefer to have all three meals included daily. That can be arranged at an additional cost.
