This sacred place invites pilgrims to reflect on poverty, humility, peace, and joyful discipleship, while experiencing the beauty and spiritual richness of one of Italy’s most treasured pilgrimage destinations.
The Basilica of St. John Lateran
Visit St. John Lateran, the cathedral of Rome and one of the city’s four Major Basilicas, for Holy Mass and a guided tour. Nearby, pilgrims will also visit the Scala Santa, or Holy Stairs, a deeply moving devotional site that invites prayerful reflection on Christ’s Passion and the call to repentance, humility, and conversion.
