Join us on a life-changing 4-day pilgrimage to Mexico, honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe at her most sacred shrines. Reflect on her miraculous apparitions to St. Juan Diego and the many wonders attributed to her loving intercession. Highlights include the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Metropolitan Cathedral, a special Mass with Archbishop Jose H. Gomez on July 11th, and much more—an unforgettable journey of faith, history, and grace.

TRIP DETAILS

Today, we will explore the Plaza of the 3 Cultures, highlighting pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern influences. After Cortés defeated the Aztecs at Tlatelolco, he built the Templo de Santiago in 1609 with stones from Aztec structures. Inside, we’ll see the Baptismal font of Juan Diego. Next, we’ll visit the Metropolitan Cathedral at the Zocalo, where we may attend a mass with Archbishop Gomez. Inside, we’ll view the Chapel of the Miraculous Cross of Poison. We’ll see the National Palace from the outside and stroll down Francisco y Madero, home to Casa de los Azulejos and the Baroque-style Temple of San Felipe Neri. Finally, we’ll pray at the Church of la Sagrada Familia before enjoying a taco dinner and returning to the hotel.

Today, we will dedicate our day to Our Lady at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas. This important pilgrimage site has a rich history dating back to 1531, when Juan Diego experienced a vision of the Virgin Mary on Tepeyac Hill near Mexico City. Our day will include kneeling before the miraculous Tilma, climbing Tepeyac Hill, and visiting the Old Basilica, the Chapel of the Indians, and the Chapel of the Well. We will celebrate Holy Mass led by the Archbishop at the main Altar, followed by lunch, prayer, and personal shopping. We’ll end the day with dinner and Mariachis at a local restaurant.

This morning, if time permits, we will say farewell to Our Lady or have Mass at a nearby church, followed by a transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

Our pilgrimage begins today as we board our flight to Mexico. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel and check in. In the evening, we will gather for a Welcome Mass at the hotel, followed by a delightful welcome cocktail and appetizers to help us get to know one another better. This will be followed by a lovely welcome dinner, enhanced by live music. We will conclude our day with an overnight stay in Mexico City.
