Join us on a life-changing 7-day pilgrimage to Mexico honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe at her most sacred shrines. Reflect on her miraculous apparitions to St. Juan Diego and the many wonders attributed to her loving intercession. Highlights include the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the ancient Pyramids of Teotihuacan, a day trip to Puebla, and much more—an unforgettable journey of faith, history, and grace.

TRIP DETAILS

ITINERARIO

DAY 1: DEPART FOR MEXICO CITY 

Your pilgrimage begins today, boarding your flight to Mexico City. Upon arrival in Mexico City, time permitting, you will enjoy a city tour and Mass will be celebrated. We will check in to our hotel before our delightful Welcome dinner at a local restaurant. We conclude our day with a peaceful overnight stay at our hotel in Mexico City.

DAY 2: SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE 

After breakfast, we will begin our day with a visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Patroness of the Americas), built in response to Our Lady’s request to the visionary, St. Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin. We will celebrate Mass in a place steeped in faith and devotion. Afterward, we will kneel before the sacred relic, the “Tilma”, on which Our Lady’s image was miraculously imprinted. Then, we will enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Basilica, allowing time for prayer and reconciliation. In the afternoon, we will meet with experts on the Virgin of Guadalupe who will share more about the Guadalupana, Her history, miracles, and apparitions. Enjoy free time exploring this sacred ground at your own pace before returning to our hotel. We will conclude our day with a group dinner and restful overnight stay at our hotel in Mexico City.

DAY 3: MEXICO CITY / FATHER PRO / METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL

After breakfast, we will visit the Church of the Sagrada Familia and pay our respects at the tomb of Father Miguel Agustin Pro, a Jesuit martyr. We will come together to celebrate Mass, followed by a visit the Museum dedicated in honor of Father Pro. We will continue our journey to Tlatelolco, the Plaza of the Three Cultures, which is the baptismal site of St. Juan Diego. We will also stop at the Zocalo, the main square to see the murals at the National Palace by Diego Rivera depicting the history of Mexico. Then, we will visit the stunning Metropolitan Cathedral, the oldest and largest cathedral in Latin America where we will visit the Chapel of the Miraculous Cross of Poison. The evening is yours to enjoy dinner at your leisure before retreating for a restful overnight stay at your hotel in Mexico City.

DAY 4: TULPETLAC / TEOTIHUACAN 

Following breakfast, we will gather for Mass at Tulpetlac, the site of the 5th apparition where the Blessed Virgin Maria de Guadalupe appeared to Juan Bernardino, Juan Diego’s uncle. Here, we will find a well of healing water which locals drink. Next, we will visit the majestic pyramids of Teotihuacan. We will indulge in a festive lunch at a local restaurant with live music, Indian dancers, and traditional décor. Next, we will visit an obsidian and textile workshop where we will learn about natural textiles and ancient pigments and enjoy a Mezcal tasting. We will return to Mexico City to enjoy the afternoon and dinner at your leisure before retiring for a restful overnight stay at your hotel in Mexico City.

DAY 5: PUEBLA

After breakfast, we will embark on a spectacular drive to the most beautiful colonial town of Puebla. Upon arrival, we will savor a typical cultural lunch, offering a true taste of the region’s culinary heritage. Then, we will visit the St. Francis of Assisi Church where the incorrupt body of St. Sebastian of Aparicio lies in eternal rest. We will also visit Puebla’s Cathedral, St. Dominic’s Church, and its chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary, which is one of the most exquisite sacred sites in all of Mexico. We will gather for Mass before returning to Mexico City. We will conclude our day with dinner at a local restaurant and a peaceful overnight stay at our hotel in Mexico City.

DAY 6: MEXICO CITY

After breakfast and Mass, we will visit the charming neighborhood of Coyoacan with its quaint streets, and rich cultural scene. We will see the lively Jardin Centenario park, surrounded by inviting cafes and townhomes, an artisan’s market where we will hunt for handmade keepsakes, and the Coyoacan Market for fresh tostados and gorditas. After some time at leisure, we will gather and unwind with a relaxing boat tour through the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, we will enjoy Our Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant and a restful overnight stay at our hotel in Mexico City.

DAY 7: RETURN HOME

This morning, we will transfer to the airport for our return flight home.
