DAY 1:  FLIGHT TO ISRAEL

(Jan. 12th) Your pilgrimage begins today as you board your flight to Israel. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight. Your spiritual journey awaits!

DAY 2 – ARRIVE IN TEL AVIV / BETHLEHEM

(Jan. 13th) Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, our professional tour guide will warmly welcome you before you board our luxurious motorcoach. Settle in as we embark on our spiritual journey beginning in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Mass will be celebrated. Our Welcome Dinner and restful overnight stay will be at our hotel in Bethlehem.

DAY 3 – BELÉN / EIN KAREM

Nativity and Visitation

(Jan. 14th) After breakfast, our day begins with a visit to the Church of the Nativity, where we will venerate the site where Jesus was born. We will then visit the village of Ein Karem, where St. John the Baptist was born, and where the Virgin Mary visited her cousin, Elizabeth, and proclaimed the ‘Magnificat’. Mass will be celebrated. We will return to Bethlehem, where we will have time for shopping in a local cooperative store that supports Christian families. We will enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay at our hotel in Bethlehem.

DAY 4 – JORDAN RIVER / QUMRAN / JERICHO / TIBERIAS

Early Years & the Wilderness

(Jan. 15th) After checking out of our hotel, we will head to the traditional site on the Jordan River where John the Baptist baptized Jesus and where we will renew our baptismal promises. Our next stop is the excavations of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were uncovered. Then, we will visit Jericho, where we will see the Mt. of Temptation, where Jesus fasted and was tempted by Satan. Mass will be celebrated. We will travel to Tiberias and enjoy dinner before a restful overnight stay at our hotel in Tiberias.

DAY 5 – NAZARETH / CANA / SEA OF GALILEE

Annunciation & Ministry

(Jan. 16th) After breakfast, we will travel to the town of Nazareth. Nestled in the heart of the city, we will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, which was built over the cave where the Archangel Gabriel visited the Virgin Mary to proclaim the greatest mystery of the Christian faith – the Incarnation of the Son of God, the moment the Word became flesh in her womb. We will celebrate Mass and pray the Angelus, the prayer that recounts the dialogue between Gabriel and Mary, inviting us to renew our faith in the Incarnation. On our way back to Tiberias, we will stop in Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle. Our day concludes with a scenic boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in Tiberias before retreating to our hotel for a restful overnight.

DAY 6 – CAPERNAUM / MOUNT OF BEATITUDES / TABGHA

The Ministry of Jesus in Galilee

(Jan. 17th) After breakfast, we begin our day in Capernaum, where Jesus lived, started his ministry, and performed many miracles. We will walk through the remnants of the ancient Synagogue, see the House of Peter, and listen to our expert guide bring scripture to life! We will also visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount and met his disciples after his Resurrection. Mass will be celebrated. We will enjoy a traditional St. Peter’s fish lunch before visiting Tabgha, the traditional site where Jesus miraculously fed a crowd of 5,000, and the nearby “Seven Springs” and Church of the Primacy of St. Peter, where Jesus appeared post-Resurrection to the disciples, cooked them breakfast, and entrusted Peter to feed His sheep. Enjoy dinner and a restful overnight at our hotel in Tiberias.

DAY 7 – MT. TABOR / JERUSALEM

Transfiguration

(Jan. 18th) After checking out of our hotel, we will drive to Mt. Tabor, where the Transfiguration of Jesus took place, a significant event recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Mass will be celebrated, and we will have time to ‘listen to Jesus’, as the disciples were instructed to do on this sacred mountain. We continue our scenic drive to Jerusalem, where our first stop will be St. Anne’s Church, the birthplace of the Virgin Mary. After settling into our hotel, we will enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay at our hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 8 – JERUSALEM: PALM SUNDAY ROUTE

Palm Sunday Route and the Agony in the Garden

(Jan. 19th) After breakfast, we begin our ‘Jerusalem Experience’ at the Mount of Olives and Pater Noster, where Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer to his disciples. We will walk in Jesus’ footsteps down the Palm Sunday route, stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. We continue our descent to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray at the Rock of Agony, where Jesus prayed his last prayer before his arrest. We will celebrate Mass, then cross the Kidron Valley to Mt. Zion. We will visit the site of the Upper Room and take a short walk to St. Peter in Gallicantu, where Peter denied our Lord three times (Psalm 88). Have dinner at your leisure before a restful overnight stay at our hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 9 – JERUSALEM: VIA DOLOROSA

The Way of the Cross, Crucifixion, Resurrection

(Jan. 20th) Before sunrise, we will retrace the last steps of Jesus, as we pray the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa. We reflect on the greatness of his sacrifice as we make our way to Calvary and the Tomb of Jesus Christ. Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the most holy place in the world for Christians. After breakfast at our hotel, we will visit the Shroud Exhibit and Pentecost Room, where we will be invited to encounter the Holy Spirit in a visual and meaningful way. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. In the evening, we will enjoy a Farewell Dinner at our hotel, savoring Mediterranean flavors, new friendships, and reflecting on the spirituality of our pilgrimage before retreating for the night.

DAY 10: TEL AVIV / EEUU

Staying Connected

(Jan. 21st) We will depart Tel Aviv for our return flight home.
