ITINERARY
DAY 1: DEPARTURE TO ISRAEL
Today marks the beginning of an unforgettable pilgrimage as you board your flight to Israel. Get ready for an inspiring journey where you will follow in Jesus’ footsteps and create cherished memories.
DAY 2: TEL AVIV
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, you’ll navigate smoothly through customs and enter this amazing journey with your Nativity tour guide, who will be with you every step of the way. We will then board our comfortable bus for the scenic drive to your hotel in Tel Aviv. Weather permitting, we will stop in the historic city of Jaffa to celebrate a special mass at St. Peter’s Church. After a satisfying day, relax and enjoy dinner at your hotel in Tel Aviv.
DAY 3: MOUNT TABOR / CANA / NAZARETH / TIBERIAS
Start your day at Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, and then travel to Cana for couples to renew their wedding vows during Mass. Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, the Church of St. Joseph, Mary’s Well, and the bustling Old Market of Nazareth. Finally, enjoy a scenic drive to Tiberias for dinner and an overnight stay in a cozy hotel along the Sea of Galilee.
DAY 4: MOUNT OF BEATITUDES / TABGHA / CAPERNAUM / SEA OF GALILEE / JERUSALEM
Today begins on the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his profound Sermon on the Mount. Next, we will visit Tabgha, where the miracle of the “Feeding of the 5,000” took place, before seeing the Church of the Primacy of Peter, where Jesus performed the Miraculous Catch. Enjoy an included lunch. Next, we will explore Capernaum, where Jesus lived and began his ministry. This evening promises a unique experience: celebrating Mass aboard a ship on the magnificent Sea of Galilee, capturing the essence of Jesus’ time. Finally, we will head to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: BETHLEHEM / EIN KAREM
We will begin our day by celebrating Mass at Shepherd’s Field, a place rich in history and meaning. Next, we will visit the magnificent Church of the Nativity, a sacred place that marks the very place where Jesus was born. Enjoy an included lunch. In the afternoon, we will travel to Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. While there, we will explore the Church of the Visitation, where the Virgin Mary shared the ‘Magnificat’ with her cousin Elizabeth. After a full day, we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and settle in for the night at our hotel in Jerusalem.
DAY 6: JERUSALEM: PALM SUNDAY ROUTE
Today, we begin our journey on the Mount of Olives and the Pater Noster, where Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer. We will visit Dominus Flevit, the Garden of Gethsemane with The Rock of Agony, and celebrate Mass in the Church of All Nations. Next, we will stop at the Chapel of the Ascension and the Upper Room on Mount Zion, concluding at St. Peter’s in Gallicantu, the site of Peter’s denial. After a meaningful day, we will enjoy dinner and rest at our hotel in Jerusalem.
DAY 7: JERUSALEM: VIA DOLOROSA
Today, we will follow the last steps of Jesus along the Via Dolorosa, praying on each Way of the Cross. Our pilgrimage culminates at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for Mass. We will also visit the church of St. Anne, pass by the Ecce Homo and the Western Wall. The rest of the day is free to explore or relax. Attend the Tower of David nightly light show (subject to confirmation), which ends with dinner and an overnight stay in Jerusalem.
DAY 8: BETHANY / JORDAN RIVER / JERICHO / QUMRAN / DEAD SEA
We will visit Bethany, home of Lazarus, Martha and Mary, and explore the Church of Lazarus. We will renew our baptismal vows on the Jordan River before stopping in Jericho for Mass and admiring the Mount of Temptation. We will then head to Qumran, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls, with the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea. After a day of discovery, we will head to our hotel in the Dead Sea for dinner and a quiet night.
DAY 9: AMMAN
We are excited to cross the Allenby Bridge into beautiful Jordan. First, we will visit Madaba, known for its stunning mosaics. Next, we will head to Mount Nebo to enjoy breathtaking views of the Holy Land and the Jordan River Valley, where Moses’ tomb is located. Finally, we will head to Amman for dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DÍA 10: WADI MUSA / PETRA
A day of wonder awaits us as we travel to Wadi Musa, which takes us to the majestic Petra. This ancient city, full of remarkable carved structures, including the iconic Monastery carved from massive sandstone, will take our breath away. After a delicious lunch, we will return across the Siq to Wadi Musa to start the journey back to Amman. Dinner and an overnight stay at our hotel in Amman will culminate this incredible experience.
DAY 11: JERASH / JERICHO
We will start today with a trip to Jerash, often nicknamed the “Pompeii of the East” due to its exceptional preservation. Get ready to marvel at the incredible colonnaded street, the Temple of Zeus, the Forum, and Hadrian’s Arch. In the afternoon, we will return to Jericho, the oldest city in the world, and share dinner before spending a comfortable night at our hotel in Jericho.
DAY 12: TEL AVIV / USA
When our trip is over, we will head to the airport, our hearts full of excitement and memories to last a lifetime.
