ITINERARY
What an exciting journey lies ahead! Today marks the beginning of your pilgrimage as you embark on your overnight flight to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik, Croatia. Relax and enjoy your flight as you settle in for this incredible adventure!
Welcome to Dubrovnik! After landing, we’ll head to Medjugorje to check into your hotel. Enjoy some relaxation time after your journey. In the evening, share a meal with fellow pilgrims, getting to know each other and discussing your hopes for the trip. Dinner and a comfortable overnight stay are included at the hotel.
Deepen your faith in Medjugorje as you connect with fellow pilgrims attending Mass. Climb Apparition Hill, where the visionaries first saw Our Lady, and visit the Blue Cross, a reminder of the children’s early experiences. Embrace the spirit of this sacred place before enjoying dinner and overnight accommodations at your hotel.
Today promises a blend of scenic beauty and adventure! We’ll embark on a delightful tour of Medjugorje before heading to the stunning city of Split in Croatia. Here, you’ll marvel at the vibrant culture and breathtaking coastline before boarding an overnight ferry to Ancona, Italy. Food will be served onboard as you relax and enjoy the journey across the Adriatic Sea. Overnight accommodations will be on the ferry, offering a unique experience of traveling through the night.
We arrive in Ancona, greeted warmly by our guide and driver. Our first stop is the beautiful St. Mary of the Angels Basilica, home to the Porziuncola church, where St. Francis and St. Clare’s legacies began. We’ll celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis and see the crucifix that inspired him, as well as visit St. Clare’s Church to view her relics. Afterward, feel free to explore local shops or relax in the peaceful surroundings. Dinner and an overnight stay will follow at your hotel.
After breakfast, we’ll head to Siena to explore its stunning Romanesque-Gothic cathedral, completed in 1380. We’ll visit the Sanctuary of St. Catherine, see the Miraculous Crucifix, and stroll through the beautiful Piazza del Campo with its Palazzo Pubblico and Torre Del Mangia. Our visit continues at the Basilica of St. Dominic to view the relics of St. Catherine. In the evening, we’ll return to Rome for dinner and a restful night at your hotel.
We’ll start the day with a heartfelt Mass at the Basilica of St. Cecelia in Trastevere, then visit the Catacombs of St. Callixtus and the Papal Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls. Next, we’ll visit the iconic Trevi Fountain. Don’t forget to toss a coin to ensure a return trip to the “Eternal City.” After a lovely morning, we’ll have lunch and free time to explore. In the evening, we’ll enjoy dinner together before resting for the night.
After breakfast, we’ll begin an exciting walking tour of Rome! We’ll start at Piazza Venezia and visit sites like Capitoline Hill and the Pantheon. We’ll also explore the Capitoline Museums, see Mamertine Prison, and stroll to the incredible Roman Colosseum and Arch of Constantine. After lunch, we’ll visit the Basilica of St. Clement and the Basilica of St. Gregory the Great, followed by a short prayer at the Mother Teresa convent. The day ends with dinner and overnight accommodations at our hotel.
On this beautiful day, we’ll visit the Basilica of Santa Croce in Jerusalem, a major pilgrimage site with important relics from Christ’s Passion. We’ll also see the Scala Sancta, with the option to climb the sacred stairs on our knees. After lunch and some free time, we’ll explore the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the largest dedicated to the Blessed Mother, and the historic Basilica of Santa Prassede, which houses part of Christ’s scourging column. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at our hotel, reflecting on a spiritually rich day.
In the morning, we’ll attend Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica and have a papal audience with Pope Francis. After exploring the Vatican Museums and admiring Michelangelo’s Pieta and the Sistine Chapel, we’ll enjoy lunch there. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Scavi excavations and St. Peter’s tomb, followed by a tour of the basilica and a stop at the Tomb of St. John Paul II. We’ll conclude the day with dinner at our hotel, reflecting on our experiences.
As our unforgettable journey comes to a close, we will transfer to the airport this morning for our return flight home.
