Today: Your pilgrimage begins today boarding your flight to Germany. Meals and drinks served aloft.

MUNICH ARRIVAL

Today: Upon arrival in Munich Airport, make your way to the baggage claim area and collect your luggage. Proceed to the arrivals hall, where you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver. Celebrate Mass at Asamkirche. Meet the local guide and start city tour of Munich. Visit the Marienplatz with its world famous “Glockenspiel”; the twin-towered Frauenkirche (the Church of Our Lady), which serves as the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Munich. The Cathedral is widely considered a symbol of Munich. Drive to your hotel for overnight.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

MUNICH / ETTAL ABBEY / OBERAMMERGAU

Today: Drive to Ettal Abbey, a beautiful Benedictine A bey founded in 1313. When the monastery was founded in the 14th century, Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian intended to set up a knight’s convent within the monastery walls. Today, Kloster Ettal remains a working Benedictine monastery. The boarding school, in the tradition of the Knight’s Academy, specializes in humanities and languages. With a community of more than 50 monks, the monastery helps support itself with delicious beer from its brewery and its famous liqueur. Celebrate Mass at the Abbey. Continue to Oberammergau.

OBERAMMERGAU: PASSION PLAY

Today:The story of Oberammergau is one of faith and b gan with a miracle. In the 1600’s “The Black Plague” swept through Europe, striking down one in every three people and leaving in its wake-misery, panic and death. The people of Oberammergau prayed to be spared, vowing that they would present a play depicting the Life and Passion of Jesus Christ every 10 years. True to their word, the villagers presented their Passion Play in 1634 and have kept their pledge, the routine of plays only having been interrupted by the two World Wars.

Light lunch at the local restaurant (included on this day). Enjoy the Passion Play performance:

• 14:30 – 1st part of the Passion Play

• 17:00 – break

• 3-course dinner during the break

• 20:00 – 22:30 – 2nd part of the Passion Play

OBERAMMERGAU / ALTOTTING / PRAGUE

Today: Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Depart Munich for Prague. Stop in Altotting where we visit the Gnadenkappelle “Grace Chapel” housing the statue of the smiling Madonna of Altotting. Celebrate Mass at the Shrine of Altotting. Continue to Prague.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

PRAGUE

Today: Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, enjoy guided tour of Prague, including Hradcany district with a visit of the Royal Castle and St. George’s Basilica, the oldest surviving church structure within the Castle. We also visit the Golden Lane, an ancient street of 11 historic houses within the Prague Castle complex. Celebrate Mass at the Church of Our Lady Victorious where we see the famous statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. After lunch, we will cross the Charles Bridge to visit the Old Town, which is considered to be one of the best-preserved historical cities in Europe. We visit the Old Town Square, the Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock which comes alive when the hour strikes and the twelve disciples appear to bless the crowd, and the Church of Our Lady before Tyn. The rest of the day at leisure.

PRAGUE / BRNO / KRAKOW

Today: Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. After breakfast, we depart Prague to Krakow. We stop in Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. After a brief city tour, we visit the Capuchin Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, where we celebrate Mass. Back on our motor coach, we make our way to Krakow, one of the most beautifully preserved cities in Europe. We check-in to our hotel.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

KRAKOW: VISIT OF THE CITY

Today: Breakfast at the hotel. We visit Krakow – one of the great cities of Europe, rich in culture and history, where Pope John Paul II had served as bishop for twenty years, before his election to the papacy. In 1038 the city became the capital, and Polish monarchs took up their residence in its Wawel Royal Castle which we see from the outside, and the Wawel Cathedral Church. We continue to Krakow’s Old Town. Walk Kanonicza Street where Pope John Paul II resided while living in Krakow and the Collegium Maius (courtyard only) where he was a student. Explore the main Market Square, the Church of St. Mary, Cloth Hall, and the City Hall Tower. Celebrate Mass at St. Mary’s church. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore on our own.

Evening: Overnight at the hotel in Oberammergau or vicinity.

KRAKOW / WIELICZKA / KRAKOW

Today: Visit Divine Mercy Shrine in Lagiewniki, where Saint Faustina lived and died. Celebrate mass at the Chapel of Relics. Drive to the Wieliczka Salt Mines, Europe’s oldest and longest mine. Tour chapels and chambers cut out of salt.

Evening: Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

KRAKOW / AUSCHWITZ / CZESTOCHOWA / WARSAW

Today: Go see the Nazi concentration camp of Auschwitz and see the Cells of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Celebrate Mass at one of the chapels Breakfast at the hotel and check out. We travel to Czestochowa. Visit Jasna Gora Monastery, the most important place of religious worship in the Polish Catholic world. Visit the Monastery to see the miraculous Black Madonna. Continue to Warsaw. Check-in at the hotel.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

WARSAW

Today: You will have a panoramic tour of Warsaw. Warsaw, known in Polish as Warszawa, is the capital and largest city of Poland and is located on the Vistula River. Warsaw is an Alphaglobal city, a major international tourist destination and an important economic hub in Central Europe. It is also known as the “phoenix city” because it has survived so many wars throughout its history. Most notably, the city had to be painstakingly rebuilt after the extensive damage it suffered in World War II, during which 85% of its buildings were destroyed.

Today: Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Depart to Warsaw Airport to take your flight back home.

Air Transportation Economy classes and Round Trip airfares are based at the time of the reservation, Rates and Times are subject to change without notice.

Airfares once issued ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, NON –TRANSFERABLE AND

CAN’T BE USED TOWARDS FUTURE TRAVEL.

Land Transportation. All land transportation as describe in the itinerary will be by Deluxe Motor Coach, some may be equipped with WI-FI service.

Hotels. First class Hotels (Hotel rooms are double occupancy (2 people per

room with private bath).

Porterage at the hotels.

Single Room. There is an additional cost per person specified on registration form. Single rooms are limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.

Meal Plan. The meal plan offers 2 meals per day and consists of both breakfast and dinner. You are responsible for your lunch.

Baggage. Nativity Pilgrimage limits all passengers to 1 piece of checked luggage and 1 carry-on. (All passengers should check with the airlines carriers for up to date baggage weight and dimensions).

Expenses for passports or any additional documents that may be required.
