Today: Arrival in London, meet with your guide and driver and transfer to London. Check in to your hotel. Time to explore the city of London on your own.

LONDON SIGHTSEEING

Today: Enjoy a panoramic city tour of London. Discover the iconic landmarks, architectural and cultural diversity, and fascinating history. The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Nelson’s Column, and Marble Arch and much more. Stop at Buckingham Palace and see the Changing of the Guards. Next, visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, the most recognizable feature of the London skyline. The marble floors, expansive dome murals and Victorian mosaics have provided the backdrop in recent times for the state funerals of Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher as well as Jubilee celebrations. Climb into the iconic dome for stunning views across London, try out the acoustics of the Whispering Gallery and head down to the crypt to see the tombs of heavyweight historical figures like Admiral Lord Nelson and the Duke of Wellington. After, visit Westminster Abbey, the Gothic masterpiece of Westminster Abbey has been at the heart of British history since the formation of the Abbey by Edward the Confessor in 1065. A visit of Westminster Abbey takes in such highlights as the Coronation Chair, the medieval Lady Chapel, museum containing a collection of royal effigies, and the Abbey Gardens which whisk you away from the hubbub of the city. There is also a café and shop onsite.

Enjoy a ride on the famous London Eye. The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. Visit Tower of London. On the banks of the River Thames in the heart of London. During a visit to the Tower visitors can see crown jewels worth over 20 billion, meet the ravens who legends say have the fate of the Kingdom in their claws, talk to the distinctive Yoeman guards with their white ruffs, and learn about the gruesome torture that went on within the walls. The Tower is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the only intact medieval buildings on the list. At the Tower there are also cafes and a shop. Enjoy a visit to Tower Bridge. From the high-level walkways take in stunning panoramic views and experience the thrill of seeing London life through the Glass Floor. Follow in the footsteps of the unsung heroes of Tower Bridge. Uncover their stories and soak in the atmosphere of the working Bridge in one of London’s true hidden gems: the magnificent Victorian Engine Rooms. Spend the balance of your day at leisure exploring London.

Today: Transfer to London Airport for your onward journey. A rive in Munich and meet your local professional tour manager. Transfer to the hotel for check–in.

MUNICH / REGENSBURG / MUNICH

Today: Celebrate Mass at a local church. Enjoy guided tour of Munich. Begin with a visit to the Marienplatz with the world famous “Glockenspiel”, and the twin-towered Frauenkirche, the most familiar landmark of old Munich. You will see the town hall, and the magnificent boulevard Feldherrenhalle Ludwigsstrasse Siegestor, created by King Ludwig I in the middle of the 19th century. See the Residenz, the palace of the Kings of Bavaria, and the Hofgarten. Drive on to Regensburg. Visit the UNESCO city of Regensburg. The tour includes between others: St Peter’s Cathedral, Haidplatz, Alte Kapelle, Altes Rathaus, St Emmeram’s Basilica, Old Stone Bridge, Scots’ Monastery, Porta Praetoria, Goliathhaus. Return to Munich.

MUNICH / OBERAMMERGAU: PASSION PLAY

Today: Breakfast at the hotel and check–out. This morning, we leave Munich to Oberammergau. Celebrate mass at a local church upon arrival. Check into the hotel.

OBERAMMERGAU / BAYREUTH / BAMBERG

Today: Celebrate Mass at a local church. Drive on to Bayreuth. Upon arrival enjoy the visit of the city including Richard Wagner Museum that affords insights into the world of Richard Wagner, his life and work. Continue on to Bamberg. Located over seven hills, this Bavarian town is nicknamed the “Franconian Rome”. Picture perfect around every corner, Bavarian Bamberg has one of Europe’s largest intact old town centers which is officially recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its medieval plan, winding narrow streets and half-timbered architecture are the holy grail of fairy tale Germany.

Evening: Overnight at the hotel in Oberammergau or vicinity.

BAMBERG / ROTHENBURG / STUTTGART

Today: Celebrate Mass at a local church. Drive on to Rottenburg. Visit the Franconian town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, for orientation tour. A town straight from the Middle Ages, preserved with dedication and skill, it has withstood the ravages of time and war and gives us a glimpse into the past. Its city walls, its lovely wood-framed houses, its town square, and St. James Cathedral with the famous “Holy Blood Altar” by Tilman Riemenschneider will be unforgettable. Continue on to Stuttgart. Orientation walk upon arrival.

STUTTGART / MAULBRONN ABBEY / FRANKFURT

Today: Visit Stuttgart, including the famous Mercedes–Benz museum. They range from some of the oldest automobiles ever built to legendary racing cars and futuristic research vehicles. Drive through the Black Forest region on to Maulbronn Abbey. Visit the Monastery, a former Catholic Cistercian Abbey and Protestant seminary. In 1993, the abbey was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The complex, surrounded by turreted walls and a tower gate. The monastery itself contains an Evangelical seminary in the Württemberger tradition and a boarding school. Celebrate mass at the monastery. Continue on to Frankfurt. Balance of the day at leisure

Air Transportation Economy classes and Round Trip airfares are based at the time of the reservation, Rates and Times are subject to change without notice.

Airfares once issued ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, NON –TRANSFERABLE AND

CAN’T BE USED TOWARDS FUTURE TRAVEL.

Land Transportation. All land transportation as describe in the itinerary will be by Deluxe Motor Coach, some may be equipped with WI-FI service.

Hotels. First class Hotels (Hotel rooms are double occupancy (2 people per

room with private bath).

Porterage at the hotels.

Single Room. There is an additional cost per person specified on registration form. Single rooms are limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.

Meal Plan. The meal plan offers 2 meals per day and consists of both breakfast and dinner. You are responsible for your lunch.

Baggage. Nativity Pilgrimage limits all passengers to 1 piece of checked luggage and 1 carry-on. (All passengers should check with the airlines carriers for up to date baggage weight and dimensions).

Expenses for passports or any additional documents that may be required.
